Great news this week: Precious is finally released. Initial responses are really great: with strong early chart indications in the UK, it's their 40th UK chart entry and could be their highest ever! Remember, if you haven't got your copy yet, then feel free to rush out and buy it now! We also have a few slipcases left to collect the formats in.

The Depeche Mode Receiver has been updated with the single format details, track listings & artwork. There are also 2 exclusive interviews with the band about the making of the album and an exclusive stripped down performance of Surrender in all its glory for you to watch now!

OK, here's some very special news! The band will be playing an intimate warm up club show for the forthcoming tour in Manhattan, New York City on 28th October. It will be at Bowery Ballroom, it will be for special guests, invitees and ticket winners only, and you have 2 chances to win tickets if you are in the UK!

Firstly, The Sun will be running a competition on Monday for 2 pairs of tickets plus flights and hotel for the night, so make sure that you pop straight down the newsagents Monday morning and grab a copy.

We also have 1 pair of tickets to be won from the DM Receiver. The winning name will be drawn at random from the Receiver subscriber list on 21 October. As you already get this mail, you are already on that list, so will be automatically entered.

As you know the album is out on 17th October and is getting some rave reviews. It will come in 2 formats, standard and deluxe. The deluxe version is packaged in a super audio case and comes with a bonus DVD that features and exclusive performance of Clean, Making Of The Angel documentary, a picture gallery and the album mixes in 5.1. If you want to buy the album on release from a store then HMV have a limited number of badge packs with initial purchases, Virgin have 2 limited edition postcards with initial copies and indie stores have a poster for their customers.
