'The following Monday - the 25th - sees the release of Remixes 81-04. A double CD, it features a career spanning 24 remixes tracking the history and development of both Depeche Mode and remixes as a production artform in general. There will also be a limited edition triple CD set which includes a bonus disc of rare, deleted and new mixes. A single disc version of 12 mixes will also be available.

To accompany this release, a special area of depechemode.com will go live, full of specially commissioned content. Featured will be a collection of ultra rare downloads, including some that go back 15 years and have never even been seen outside the Mute vaults! Also present will be an 8 track mixing application, with over 100 soundfiles and samples allowing the user to create and save their own Depeche Mode remix, and remix sample parts for Enjoy The Silence which will allow anyone with some basic sound production software to get busy on their own remix.

There will be additional digital releases of new mixes over the coming weeks.'
